The TIM-BOR Advantage
TIM-BOR is an EPA registered wood preservative which protects
wood from fungal and insect attack in above ground uses. TIM-BOR is a
highly soluble sodium borate derived from naturally occurring minerals and is
manufactured by U.S. Borax especially for timber preservation.

TIM-BOR protects against attack by wood destroying fungi.

TIM-BOR is not corrosive to ferrous metal fasteners, nails
and screws.

TIM-BOR does not affect paint or coatings when properly
applied.

TIM-BOR treated wood can be machined, shaped, and glued.

TIM-BOR has no effect on the natural colors of wood.

TIM-BOR has no odor and is not considered toxic.

TIM-BOR treatments are permanent providing the treated wood
is protected from the elements.

Wood strength is not diminished when treated with TIM-BOR.
